Tiptoing thru the Tulips

After the much needed bath, the girls got to walk thru the wildflowers in front of Papa and Honey's house and pick some. They made some beautiful bouquets and I got some great shots. These are my fav shots of the day.

Kya and Carson have a Spa Mud Treatment

Kya and Carson discovered the sticky mud on the bank of the pond and how fun it was to sink in it up to their knees! After about an hour of mud play they got a much needed bath!!!

Fun and Fishing with Papa

The kids are really learning how to fish so well. But its also so easy in Papa's ponds because they are full of catfish, bass, and crappie. Kya's all about it, Carson can take it or leave it, and J.C's not sure he likes it. LOL!

Kya and Papa fish together on the pond's bank.

Carson helped Papa reel in a few bass and was pretty proud of herself :)

J.C got in on the action very hesitantly. Check out his face in the first pic. LOL! But he warmed up enough to pose with Papa and his catch.

A Day in the Sun at Honey and Papa's

We all enjoyed a much needed visit to Honey and Papa's on Saturday for some BBQ and relaxing. The kiddos got to play at the "beach" at Papa's pond, go fishing, play in the mud, and pick and plant flowers.

J.C discovers Root Beer. He also thought the girls should keep track of theirs. Here is running after Kya telling her she forgot her "coke"

Here is J.C savoring his Root Beer with Jasn in the background looking on.

Papa and the kids planted watermelon plants and pumpkin seeds for pumpkins that can grow up to 500lbs!! That'll be ALOT of pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving! LOL!

Then we moved on to the "beach". The kids had a blast playing in the sand. Kya's looking so grown in these pics to me. Where did my little girl go?

Carson played in the sand the longest. She buried one of her plastic lizards way too deep and had a heck of a time finding it! LOL!

Once the lizard was found, all was well and she started building sand castles :)

J.C got in on the sand playing too. He had more fun throwing it than building anything with it.

Puppy Love

He's a sweet little Beagle named Teddy and he captured my kids hearts. He was very wary of my camera, but I was able to sneak up and shoot a few.

Kya and her Look a Like

Kya got a new little friend, Carly, as a present from her Aunt Carmen and cousins Dylan and Dalton. She looks just like Kya and Kya goes nowhere without her. I got a chance to catch a few shots of Kya with Carly in front of her big french door in her room. Its the perfect place for natural light portraiture!

Cousins

The Smith Cousins :) My kiddos got to meet their newest little cousin, Savannah, on Saturday, Feb. 14th. J.C. was just mesmerized by his newest little cousin. Kya held her all by herself and did a great job! We can't wait to get all well over here so we can visit again.

Savannah's Here!!

Little Savannah arrived Tues. Feb. 10th with a head full of dark hair and cute chubby cheeks! She looks exactly like her cousin Carson Olivia! What a doll she is!
